919 COMMERCIAL PROFILE AND DAN SMITH BROKER PROFILE

     919 Commercial LLC is owned by Dan Smith, a licensed commercial real estate broker that operates out of the Raleigh/Durham market and serves Central NC.  Dan has been in the commercial real estate industry since 2009 and completed his CCIM designation in 2013 after only 4 years in the business.  His background includes 13 years in the US Army as a Armor/Cavalry officer and founder of a manufactured stone company. Over the past 9 years he has completed millions of dollars in sales and was awarded the Trailblazer award in 2014 and in 2016 by TCAR, the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors    (view the Press release here).  Dan is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), NC CCIM Chapter, National Realtor Association, and the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors. Dan and his Research/Marketing person partner with architects, engineers, developers and other brokers to get results for his clients.  Dan is a Raleigh native and graduated from Appalachian State University.  Joe Lyle recently joined the 919 Commercial team in 2017 and brings a wealth of engineering, construction, and brokerage experience to the team.  See the Our Work page for a list of project experience.

Dan selectively chooses buyer clients and funds that are active in the Raleigh/Durham and Central North Carolina markets that need his ability to investigate and research properties from the ground up in ways no other broker can.  Dan's ability to utilize technology along with his intelligence gathering background and work ethic, serve him well in this capacity.  Dan believes that the best opportunities are often with properties that are not listed for sale and frequently targets these properties for investor clients and developers.

Only taking a maximum of 8 listings at a time allows 919 CRE to target specific buyers for properties allowing more contact with each potential buyer for a specific property.  Premium technology provides 919 CRE with buyers of similar type properties and the best marketing technology available is also utilized for marketing.  This website alone is obviously not enough marketing for a property, in fact it is a very small part of the marketing plan.  CoStar and LoopNet premium subscriptions get 919 CRE listings visible and also provide excellent feedback to the seller.  Keeping the seller informed is at the top of the priority list.  Listing activity summaries with the number of times a property was viewed online and inquired about is just part of what 919 CRE can provide.
